A <a href=\"https:\/\/www.aph.gov.au\/Parliamentary_Business\/Bills_Legislation\/Bills_Search_Results\/Result?bId=r6608\" data-link-name=\"in body link\">bill <\/a>to make the card permanent, despite there being <a href=\"https:\/\/theconversation.com\/why-is-the-government-trying-to-make-the-cashless-debit-card-permanent-research-shows-it-does-not-work-149444\" data-link-name=\"in body link\">no evidence of its success<\/a>, is before parliament.
