Det Insp Mark Thompson: “Is this an issue of a woman suffering significant domestic violence and her and her children perishing at the hands of the husband, or is it an instance of a husband being driven too far by issues he’s suffered by certain circumstances into committing acts of this form?”

Can I suggest that Det Insp Mark Thompson be let go from the police.

There is a reason why women don’t get DVO and don’t report or withdraw sexual assault reports … Det Insp Mark Thompson (and officers like him) may well be a large part of this. Worth investigation, right?
