Some of these things are not like the others. Everyone should pursue privacy. However everyone needs to understand responsibility for their rights to free speech. Free speech is not and never has been absolute, pretending that free speech is absolute is avoiding responsibility for that speech.
I understand that spreading misinformation, propaganda and calls to violence should be moderated. Echo chambers can lead to radicalisation. However, political undermining of academia and expertise, political bowing to corporate interests, closed secretive governance, aggressive state enforcement of fascist laws, and wilful political ignorance will continue generate public antipathy. And rightly so.
